In a small electrical workshop, two wire terminals — RV and RVE — were lying on the workbench.
One day, a young electrician named Tom was in a hurry to finish wiring. He picked up an RV terminal, stripped the wire, and tried to insert it — but the strands kept bending and fraying.
Tom sighed, “This always happens when I’m in a rush.”
Then he noticed the RVE terminal beside it. Its flared entry looked smoother, like a little funnel guiding the wire in.
He tried it — and the wire slid in effortlessly, no strands out of place.
Tom smiled, “This one really welcomes the wire in.”
From that day on, whenever he needed quick and clean wiring, he always reached for the RVE type — while the RV type stayed in the toolbox for simpler jobs
