Cable gland Story

In a small factory, an engineer named Mr. Li was installing a new automated machine. Several cables had to pass through the control box. If the cables were pulled in directly, the insulation could be damaged, and dust or moisture might get inside, causing instability.

Mr. Li took out a bag of cable glands. He fixed one onto the entry hole of the control box, passed the cable through it, and then tightened the locknut. Instantly, the cable was held firmly in place, and the outlet was sealed. This not only prevented damage from pulling but also provided protection against water and dust.

When the machine started running, even with dust in the workshop and occasional water splashes, the cables and connections stayed safe. The boss was impressed and said, “Such a small connector makes our equipment more reliable and durable.”

Since then, almost every wiring entry in the factory has been equipped with cable glands
